All About Howie D

Hey there, Ms.Viv ‘Nim Fanatics!

After about a month’s rest, we’re back with the first blog of March 2011. Today, we’ve got one more profile to check out. We met him in a romance blog last week, as he got to know the fair Jessica Dawn Torres. Let’s all get to know Howard Allen Douglas, and let’s also wish him a Happy #30!

Howard Allen Douglas is the oldest child and only son of Bret and Susan Douglas. Born in Culver City, California on March 21, 1981, Howard graduated from UC San Diego with a dual degree in print and broadcasting. After graduation, Howard secured a position as a newsreporter and photographer at his hometown newspaper, the Culver City Gazette. Howard expanded his career by working at the local radio station, KCLD 104.5FM. It has always been Howard’s dream to work in the world of media, and it shows, as he is rarely (if at all) seen without his trusty camcorder and notepad. It seems as though Howard has everything… but the girl. Howard admits that he is a hopeless romantic, yet he cannot understand why he comes across “the wrong girl” time and time again. He sometimes feels as though he is being punished for mistreating the girls when he was a “little rascal,” yet he stays optimistic that his princess is out there. Incidentally, Howard knows that childhood friends Natalie Marcellia and Melissa Roberts have had crushes on him, but he has always looked at them like his younger sisters.

Howard is also very overprotective of his younger sisters Sarah and Nicole. He once single-handedly thwarted off a crazed lunatic who tried to assault Sarah. Eyewitnesses say that Howard grabbed the attacker and flung him across a wall. Howard was on the news later on that same evening, and declared that he would have done the same thing if it was any other lady. Because of his heroic attitude, Howard was awarded a medal for his heroic deed.

While Howard proclaims that he is just an average joe creating his own legacy, he has a lot going for him. He also admits that he is a bona fide cornball. Also, much like his father, Howard is a wrestling fan; his favorite wrestler is "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
